1. How do I book a taxi?
You can book a taxi through our mobile app. Just enter your pick-up and drop-off locations, and we’ll connect you with a nearby licensed driver.

2. How much will my journey cost?
Fares are based on factors like distance and time of day. You’ll receive a fare estimate upfront before confirming your ride.
We believe in fair fares — no surge pricing, no “dynamic” fees, just honest pricing from local drivers.

3. Can I pay by card?
Yes! Most drivers accept both cash and card payments using in-car terminals. Card payments are encouraged for safety and convenience.

4. Why direct, in-car payments?
We’ve kept payments outside the app so drivers keep 100% of their fare. It keeps pricing fair and ensures the money goes directly to the person providing the service.

5. Are your drivers licensed?
Yes. All drivers are licensed by Derby City Council, fully insured, and meet the area’s strict private hire standards.

6. Why only Derby-plated drivers?
Local drivers provide consistent service, meet Derby’s regulations, and reinvest in the community. While we respect drivers from other areas, our focus is proudly on serving Derby and its people.

Base rate fares. Unlike companies who push a low start rate without dropping the minimum fare info, we want to be as up front as possible.
Our minimum fare, up to and including the first mile – £4.50. This then drops to £4.00 for continuation miles with an ongoing journey charge of 0.20 (20p) per 176 yards.

We have an surcharge on unsociable hours jobs. All rides can be estimated in the app. This isn’t fixed however, traffic and stoppage time may play into the mix.
